On Sunday night, eager Camp Flog Gnaw attendees were disappointed to find out that the surprise headline performer was Drake instead of Frank Ocean. So, they booed.
After months of speculation surrounding the headliner teased only as "???" , fans weren't willing to accept any artist not named Frank Ocean—even the biggest artist in the world. Then the booing happened.
Camp Flog Gnaw is an annual carnival created and curated by Tyler the Creator held at Dodger Stadium. Past headliners include: Kids See Ghosts(Kanye West and Kid Cudi), Solange, Lana Del Rey, ASAP Rocky, Lil Wayne, SZA and Snoop Dogg. Drake also released a more public statement with a lighthearted Instagram post.
